Three pairs of 6mm diameter plique-a-jour enamelled disks (the enamel is completely transparent and has no backing) joined with unequal lengths of wire, wrapped in fine wire and fused.  The earring is made entirely from pure silver or 22 carat gold and is suspended from a sterling silver or 9 carat yellow gold French ear pin. Total drop 60mm, weight 4g per earring. The enamel is available in a wide variety of colours - Ruby Red is shown.  Inspired by an item in the British Museum.  The first item in our Buried Treasure collection. Also available as a pendant.
