A curved teardrop, in sterling silver, 9 carat white or yellow gold, palladium or aluminium, hand cut and carved with three pockets filled with an opaque enamel, a semi-opaque enamel and a transparent enamel.  The latter two colours flow to give a slight colour graduation from the top of the earring to the bottom, giving a sense of depth.  Total drop 55 mm, the maximum width is 17mm. The earring is freely suspended from a sterling silver (sterling silver, palladium and aluminium earrings) or 9 carat gold ball ear pin with a matching scroll. The aluminium version is incredibly light, each earring weighing less than 1g.   The earring shown is silver with solid ruby red, semi-opaque golden yellow and transparent purple.  The earring is available in a wide range of colours as is a matching pendant.
