A silver teardrop earring, 40mm deep by 11mm wide (approx) filled with two highly polished contrasting hard enamels, which are thinner in the centre of the teardrop than at the bottom or top.  The back of the earring is covered in translucent white enamel which enhances the graduated colour effect, producing an almost colourless central section and  a gradual increase in colour intensity from middle to bottom and from middle to top.  The earring shown has a sapphire top colour and an amethyst bottom colour.  The earring is topped with a scalloped bail attached to a silver ear hook.  The total drop is 60mm (approximately).  The earring is available in a wide range of colours and they are very, very light - weighing approximately 1g each!  Also available as a pendant - please enquire!
