A silver or gold outlined teardrop placed within a silver or gold outlined petal topped with a scalloped bail attached to a ball ear pin.  The teardrop and petal are filled with transparent hard enamel,, the colour intensity of which varies down the length of the earring since the enamel thickness is deeper at the base than at the top.  This effect is accentuated by a white enamel backing.  The enamel is highly polished and available in a wide variety of colours.  The total drop is 40mm approximately and the maximum width of the petal is 18mm.  There is a matching pendant available.  The earring shown is white gold with a Ruby Red (Detail Colour) petal and a Royal Blue (Detail Colour 2) teardrop.
