An earring for the ophiophilist (A person with a fondness for snakes and other reptiles).  A sterling silver wriggling snake with a 2mm wide flat  textured 'body' and smooth rounded highly polished head with a forked tongue . Inset in the head are two 'eyes' made from neodymium/boron/iron magnets 1mm in diameter (shown in photograph) or filled with a wide choice of enamels. The magnets produce a strong magnetic field which is believed by some to alleviate the symptoms of arthritis. The earring is suspended from a sterling silver ball ear pin with matching scroll.  The total drop is 80mm but this can be adjusted to suit. Also available with heavy gold plating. Please note that this item involves melting silver with a high temperature flame on a titanium base. This means that whilst we make every effort to control the shape of the 'head' each item will be unique but similar to that shown.
